Who Wrote Dreams From My Father?

This would never hold up as proof in a court of law without much more investigation.  But this guy does some very interesting analysis that strongly suggests that the un-claimed ghost writer for Obama's first book was none other than his "neighborhood acquaintance", Bill Ayers.  You know, the terrorist the Obama barely knows and never shared any ideas with...

American Thinker: Who Wrote Dreams From My Father?

...The Obama camp could put all such speculation to rest by producing some intermediary sign of impending greatness -- a school paper, an article, a notebook, his Columbia thesis, his LSAT scores -- but Obama guards these more zealously than Saddam did his nuclear secrets.  And I suspect, at the end of the day, we will pay an equally high price for Obama's concealment as Saddam's...

NUTS! - HOW ACORN GOT ME INTO VOTE SCAM

NUTS! - New York Post JEANE MacINTOSH, Post Correspondent

Christopher Barkley

Christopher Barkley

CLEVELAND - Two Ohio voters, including Domino's pizza worker Christopher Barkley , claimed yesterday that they were hounded by the community-activist group ACORN to register to vote several times, even though they made it clear they'd already signed up.

Barkley estimated he'd registered to vote "10 to 15" times after canvassers for ACORN, whose political wing has endorsed Barack Obama, relentlessly pursued him and others.

Claims such as his have sparked election officials to probe ACORN.

"I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register," Barkley said. "They'd ask me if I was registered. I'd say yes, and they'd ask me to do it [register] again.

"Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it," he said.

Barkley is one of at least three people who have been subpoenaed by the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections as part of a wider inquiry into possible voter fraud by ACORN. The group seeks to register low-income voters, who skew overwhelmingly Democratic.

"You can tell them you're registered as many times as you want - they do not care," said Lateala Goins, 21, who was subpoenaed.

"They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter," she told The Post.

She added that she never put down an address on any of the registration forms, just her name.

A third subpoenaed voter, Freddie Johnson, 19, filled out registration cards 72 times over 18 months, officials said...

I'm confused. If Obama's ideas are so far superior to McCain's and everyone think Obama should be President - why do they have to cheat?

Come here...I wanna show you something.

I wanted to take a quick look back at how the polls were shaping up for George W. Bush back in 2004 against John Kerry. The graphics below come from a site that I frequently look to guage the direction of the polls. They gather several different polling organizations (Rasmuusem, Zogby, CNN, Gallup, etc.) and average things out to come up with an electoral projection.

I have chosen to display the map the showed Kerry with one if his biggest electoral leads during the 6 weeks running up to the election. This map shows Kerry getting 289 electoral votes in winning the election. In the process, it shows him taking Florida, Ohio, Iowa and a tossup in New Mexico. Kerry lost all of these states and the election. In all, at least 10 states' final results were significantly better for George W. Bush than these polls showed. Only New Hampshire, which was listed as a toss-up, went to Kerry.

Now...look at the date of this poll average - November 1, 2004 - the DAY BEFORE THE ELECTION. Less than 24 hours before 120 million Americans went out to vote, the polling organizations had called it wrong!

This is how it ended up:

And remember, even on election day - their exit polls were way off AGAIN!

Don't let anyone tell you what to think - just do what you need to do.

Recent Polls

Folks, I'm sure you are seeing a lot of the recent polls showing a shift towards Obama in the last week or two. Relax! There is still a lot of time before the election. The economic news of the last couple of weeks certainly played a big part in that shift since the democrats love trumpeting the bad news as "the final verdict on the failed economic policies of the last 8 years". Nevermind the fact that is was their policies that caused this mess. But I digress...
Don't let these polls get you down. They will continue to be crazy all the way up until the election.
Ask yourselves this question: Do I know anyone who has changed their mind and decided to vote for Obama in the last couple of weeks? I couldn't name a single person and I live in one of the states that they claim is shifting. If anything, I am seeing more people that are registering and voting only because they want to make sure they can vote for McCain/Palin.
Just watch over the next week or so and these polls will return to a more reasonable level. And the only one that matters is the one that's taken at tens of thousands of polling stations across the country on November 4th.
